This blog is for fun, intended to unashamedly embrace the playing with paper dolls aspect of Second Life. Your comments are welcomed. The interchange is all part of the fun. If you have something you love, love a store that is featured, or have other items to recommend, then, by all means, post away!
If you have constructive criticism on how to make this site more interesting or relevant, then please leave a note.
This site is not an outlet for any of the “who stole an idea from whom” drama that so often muddies the SL fashion blogoshpere. Like many forms of art, fashion is constantly evolving, as one artist is inspired by and builds on ideas developed by others. Not all ideas are born completely original and fully-formed. Venus does not emerge from the clam shell every day.
There are ample places to discuss content theft, both real and rumored. This is not one of them. I appreciate all the work that content creators do to make our second lives more interesting and fun, and I have a tremendous amount of respect for them. However, it often seems that slander campaigns drive designers out of sl, or burn them out too quickly. It is much easier to damage a reputation than repair one. So, in the immortal words of the W.O.P.R. speaking to a young and very cute Matthew Broderick, “The only winning move is not to play.” At least on this blog.
